Georgia High School Basketball - Valwood nips Open Bible Christian
November 16, 2023: Valdosta, GA 31605 Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Open Bible Christian (Valdosta, GA), 31-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Valwood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Valiants host Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the play the Southside Christian Patriots (Waycross, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Open Bible Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 44-21 league loss to Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA).
