February 1, 2025: Algona, IA 50511 Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA), 65-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mason City upgrades its record to 7-8 on the year. The Mohawks travel to Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 8-11. Waterloo East lost 71-56 in their recent non-league match against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarion-Goldfield for a non-league match on Monday, February 3.
