February 1, 2025: Monessen, PA 15062 In Saturday's non-league test, the Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Carmichaels Mighty Mikes (Carmichaels, PA), by a score of 71-40.
Next, the Greyhounds encounter the St. Joseph Spartans (Natrona Heights, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 2 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Monessen will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 7-12 record after their 75-30 league loss to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA).
