The New London Whalers (New London, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT), 75-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Whalers now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they host St. Bernard for a Eastern Connecticut I bout on Tuesday, February 4. New London will play a Saints team coming off a 63-56 non-league win over Staples (Westport, CT). The Saints record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Killingly falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Redmen host Putnam (Putnam, CT) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Putnam lost 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Montville (Oakdale, CT)
