Connecticut High School Basketball - New London routs Fitch

In Friday's league contest, the host New London Whalers basketball team scored a big 82-42 triumph over the Fitch Falcons.

The Whalers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets go into the Eastern Connecticut I contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Windham smashed Waterford (Waterford, CT), 74-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut I contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Fitch will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 87-40 non-league loss to East Catholic (Manchester, CT).
