The Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) basketball were winner over the host Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), 72-56 in Friday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to New London for a Eastern Connecticut I bout on Sunday, February 23. Norwich Free Academy will play a Whalers team coming off a 60-51 league win over East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Whalers record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Fitch falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Amistad (New Haven, CT) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 1. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Amistad won 84-72 in their recent non-league bout against Capital Prep (Hartford, CT)
