Next, the Cadets clash with the Portledge Panthers (Locust Valley, NY) in a non-league test, on Sunday, February 2. La Salle Institute will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 71-53 non-league loss to St. Anthony's (Melville, NY).
The Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY). The Cadets come into the non-league test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Albany Academy for Boys bounced East Catholic (Manchester, CT), 66-40, in a non-league test.
