Indiana High School Basketball - South Central fells New Prairie

The South Central Satellites basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting New Prairie Cougars to 46 in the Satellites non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Satellites now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Morgan Township for a Porter County game on Thursday, February 6. South Central will confront a Cherokees team coming off a 71-37 non-league loss to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Cherokees record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, New Prairie falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Elkhart (Elkhart, IN) to confront the Lions in a Northern Indiana game on Thursday, February 6. The Lions go into the game with a record of 3-12. Elkhart lost 65-40 in their recent non-league game against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)
