The South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) basketball edged the visiting Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN), 79-72 in Friday's league bout.

The Satellites now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jimtown for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. South Central will play a Jimmies team coming off a 74-65 non-league loss to Culver Academies (Culver, IN). The Jimmies record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Boone Grove falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Kouts (Kouts, IN) to play the Mustangs & Fillies in a Porter County bout on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs & Fillies go into the bout with a record of 8-2.
