Indiana High School Basketball - South Central nudges Morgan Township

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) and the host Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN), observed South Central's basketball team edge Morgan Township by a score of 62-59.

The Satellites (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Bluejays come into the non-league challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, North Judson-San Pierre was tipped by Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN), 50-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cherokees encounter the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 1. Morgan Township will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 58-54 non-league loss to West Central (Francesville, IN).
