February 1, 2025: Roseburg, OR 97470 Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Yoncalla Eagles (Yoncalla, OR), 62-42 in a league match.
With the victory, Umpqua Valley Christian advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Country Christian (Molalla, OR) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 16-6. Country Christian won 66-43 in their recent non-league match against Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR)
The Eagles now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glendale for a 1A Skyline match on Friday, February 7.
