Rhode Island High School Basketball - Cranston East sneaks past Westerly
February 1, 2025: Westerly, RI 02891 The Cranston East Thunderbolts basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Westerly Bulldogs to 58 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Thunderbolts now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Johnston for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Cranston East will play a Panthers team coming off a 67-36 non-league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Westerly falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to play the Broncos in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 11-2. Burrillville won 56-47 in their recent non-league game against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
