The Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Penasco Panthers to 47 in the Blue Griffins league victory on Saturday.

The Blue Griffins now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pecos for a 2A District 2 contest on Monday, February 4. Santa Fe Prep will battle a Panthers team coming off a 70-57 league win over Penasco (Penasco, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 16-2.

The Panthers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Monte Del Sol (Santa Fe, NM). The Dragons come into the 2A District 2 contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Monte Del Sol was defeated by Mora (Mora, NM), 76-54, in a league contest.
