February 2, 2023: Westside, IA 51467 The Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA), 63-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Rockets (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Paton-Churdan went down by Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA), 78-40, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to IKM/Manning for a Western Iowa test on Friday, February 3. Logan-Magnolia will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 74-63 non-league win over Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 10-8.
