South Dakota High School Basketball - Dakota Valley tops Elk Point-Jefferson
February 2, 2023: Elk Point, SD 57025 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) and the host Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), saw Dakota Valley's basketball squad knock off Elk Point-Jefferson by a tally of 80-63.
With the victory, Dakota Valley improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Western Christian (Hull, IA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. Western Christian lost 64-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Tea (Tea, SD)
Next up, the Huskies play the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Elk Point-Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to Deuel (Clear Lake, SD).
