South Dakota High School Basketball - Elk Point-Jefferson nips Beresford
February 10, 2023: Elk Point, SD 57025 Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), 55-49 in a league bout.
With the victory, Elk Point-Jefferson upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Tea (Tea, SD) to play the Titans in a A Region 4 bout on Friday, February 17. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 13-4.
Next up, the Watchdogs play the Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) in a A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Beresford will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Orioles come into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 63-57 league win over Tea (Tea, SD).
