The Beresford Watchdogs basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Vermillion Tanagers to 45 in the Watchdogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Watchdogs now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Beresford will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-48 league win over Tri-Valley (Colton, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.

The Tanagers (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Sioux Falls Christian nudged Canton (Canton, SD), 69-53, in a non-league contest.
