The Vermillion Tanagers tipped the host Lennox Orioles basketball team by a final score of 51-47 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tanagers face the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 3. Vermillion will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 15-5 record after their 83-74 non-league win over Canton (Canton, SD).
