South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion trounces Garretson
January 20, 2023: Garretson, SD 57030 The Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) basketball crushed the host Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD), 76-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tanagers (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Pine Ridge walloped Winnebago (Winnebago, NE), 49-48, in a non-league test.
The Blue Dragons now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Howard for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Garretson will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Hanson (Alexandria, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
