New York High School Basketball - East Aurora succumbs to Williamsville South
February 2, 2023: Williamsville, NY 14221 The Williamsville South Billies topped the visiting East Aurora Blue Devils basketball team by a final score of 67-49 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Billies face the Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County II game, on Tuesday, February 7. Williamsville South will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 6-8 record after their 49-48 league loss to Iroquois (Elma, NY).
With the defeat, East Aurora moves to 6-9 on the year. The Blue devils host Depew (Depew, NY) to face the Wildcats in a Section 6 Erie County III game on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 11-4. Depew won 72-31 in their recent league game against Lake Shore (Angola, NY)
