Minnesota High School Basketball - Park Rapids nips East Grand Forks
February 2, 2023: East Grand Forks, MN 56721 Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN), 78-73 in a league bout.
With the victory, Park Rapids upgrades its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Lakers come into the bout with a record of 11-6. Detroit Lakes won 78-65 in their recent non-league bout against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN)
Next up, the Green Wave play the Warroad Warriors (Warroad, MN) in a AA Section 8 bout, on Monday, February 6. East Grand Forks will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 71-67 league loss to Crookston (Crookston, MN).
