California High School Basketball - Fairfield can't hold off Rodriguez
February 2, 2023: Fairfield, CA 94533 The Rodriguez Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Fairfield Falcons to 61 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vacaville for a Monticello Empire League contest on Tuesday, February 7. Rodriguez will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-49 league win over Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-6.
The Falcons (6-19) will now prepare for their contest against Wood (Vacaville, CA). The Wildcats enter the Monticello Empire League contest with a 12-13 record. In their last contest, Wood nudged Armijo (Fairfield, CA), 67-55, in a league contest.
