Lincoln Prep Panthers (Grambling, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA), 72-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln Prep upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Panthers host Union Parish (Farmerville, LA) to play the Farmers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Farmers go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Union Parish lost 66-60 in their recent league bout against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Claiborne Christian Crusaders (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. River Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 75-52 non-league win over Glenbrook (Minden, LA).
