Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), 46-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Milledgeville upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Missiles travel to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 2-22. Orangeville lost 52-34 in their recent league bout against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL)

Next up, the Marcos clash with the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Polo will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Steamers go into the bout with a 20-6 record after their 61-41 league win over Eastland (Lanark, IL).
