The Saydel Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers to 41 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a Heart of Iowa contest on Friday, February 3. Saydel will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 50-28 league win over Greene County (Jefferson, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-12.
