Fans at Friday's league challenge between the National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH) and the visiting Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH), saw National Trail's basketball squad hold off Ansonia by a tally of 55-50.

With the victory, National Trail improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Yellow Springs lost 59-37 in their recent league challenge against Miami Valley (Dayton, OH)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Russia Raiders (Russia, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Ansonia will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 16-1 record after their 52-48 league loss to Anna (Anna, OH).
