Ohio High School Basketball - National Trail nips Mississinawa Valley

December 19, 2023: New Paris, OH 45347

National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH), 67-62 in a league bout.

With the victory, National Trail upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH) to play the Arrows in a Western Ohio bout on Friday, December 22. The Arrows come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Preble Shawnee won 61-17 in their recent league bout against Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Friday, December 22. Mississinawa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 64-31 league loss to Tri-Village (New Madison, OH).
