February 2, 2024: Port Townsend, WA Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals (Port Townsend, WA) and the visiting Bellevue Christian Vikings (Clyde Hill, WA), saw East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]'s basketball squad hold off Bellevue Christian by a tally of 80-75.
With the victory, East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Rivals host Vashon Island (Vashon Island, WA) to play the Pirates in a 1A Nisqually challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-16. Vashon Island lost 74-67 in their recent league challenge against Klahowya (Silverdale, WA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Annie Wright Gators (Tacoma, WA) in a 1A Nisqually challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Bellevue Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 91-39 league win over East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] (Port Townsend, WA).
