January 30, 2024: Clyde Hill, WA 98004 The Vashon Island Pirates basketball team (Vashon Island, WA), was overwhelmed 81-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Bellevue Christian Vikings (Clyde Hill, WA)
The Vikings now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] for a 1A Nisqually battle on Friday, February 2. Bellevue Christian will confront a Rivals team coming off a 91-39 league loss to Annie Wright (Tacoma, WA). The Rivals record now stands at 7-9.
The Pirates (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Klahowya (Silverdale, WA). The Eagles come into the 1A Nisqually battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Klahowya was overwhelmed by Annie Wright (Tacoma, WA), 80-35, in a league battle.
