The Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA) basketball felled the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA), 61-49 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (19-0) will now prepare for their test against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Potomac test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Stone Bridge was beaten by Independence (Ashburn, VA), 69-60, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Lightridge for a Potomac test on Monday, February 5. Briar Woods will encounter a Bolts squad coming off a 72-50 league loss to Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Bolts record now stands at 5-15.
