Iowa High School Basketball - Cardinal ripped by Keota
February 2, 2024: Keota, IA 52248 The Keota Eagles basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Cardinal Comets to 40 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Keota will battle a Huskies team coming off a 56-50 league loss to Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-17.
The Comets (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Hawks enter the SEI - South contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Central Lee triumphed over Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
