The Vance County Vipers basketball team (Henderson, NC), was nudged 71-67 in Friday's league battle with the host Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC)

The Jaguars now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.F. Webb for a 2A/3A Northern Lakes battle on Tuesday, February 6. Carrboro will battle a Warriors team coming off a 86-45 league loss to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-17.
