Illinois High School Basketball - Normal Community overwhelms Danville
February 2, 2024: Normal, IL 61761 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) and the visiting Danville Vikings (Danville, IL), saw Normal Community's basketball squad wallop Danville by a tally of 73-48.
With the victory, Normal Community improves its record to 23-4 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Metamora (Metamora, IL) to confront the Redbirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a record of 22-4. Metamora won 45-42 in their recent league challenge against Pekin (Pekin, IL)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Danville will attempt to improve on its 9-15 season record.
