Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 80-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Model upgrades its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Rockmart (Rockmart, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 19-5. Rockmart won 79-75 in their recent league bout against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA)
