Georgia High School Basketball - North Murray crushes Gordon Central
January 5, 2024: Chatsworth, GA 30705 North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 83-57 in a league bout.
With the win, North Murray upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Mountaineers host Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Southeast Whitfield County lost 84-33 in their recent league bout against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Gordon Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 53-47 league win over Chattooga (Summerville, GA).
