Texas High School Basketball - Palo Duro tops Plainview
February 2, 2024: Amarillo, TX 79107 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), saw Palo Duro's basketball squad knock off Plainview by a tally of 65-45.
With the victory, Palo Duro improves its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Dons host Caprock (Amarillo, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 5A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 2-19.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Plainview will attempt to improve on its 15-14 season record. The Sandies come into the challenge with a 26-4 record after their 68-47 league win over Tascosa (Amarillo, TX).
