Texas High School Basketball - Palo Duro overwhelms Tascosa
January 30, 2024: Amarillo, TX 79102 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX) and the host Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX), saw Palo Duro's basketball squad wallop Tascosa by a tally of 70-46.
With the victory, Palo Duro improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Dons host Plainview (Plainview, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 15-13.
Next up, the Rebels confront the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Tascosa will attempt to improve on its 20-9 season record. The Sandies come into the challenge with a 25-4 record after their 53-33 league win over Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX).
