February 2, 2024: Springfield, MN 56087 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) and the host Springfield Tigers (Springfield, MN), saw Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart's basketball squad wallop Springfield by a count of 75-45.
With the victory, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Mayer Lutheran lost 64-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN)
Next up, the Tigers play the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 77-47 league loss to Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN).
