Michigan High School Basketball - Northwest overwhelms Harper Creek
February 2, 2024: Jackson, MI 49201 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) and the visiting Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI), saw Northwest's basketball squad wallop Harper Creek by a tally of 51-30.
With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Mounties travel to Coldwater (Coldwater, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a Interstate 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Coldwater lost 42-36 in their recent league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, MI)
Next up, the Beavers confront the Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Harper Creek will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 65-35 league win over Plainwell (Plainwell, MI).
