Michigan High School Basketball - Marshall can't hold off Harper Creek
January 26, 2024: Marshall, MI 49068 The Harper Creek Beavers basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Marshall Redhawks to 42 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.
The Beavers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumen Christi Catholic for a Interstate 8 contest on Monday, January 29. Harper Creek will battle a Titans team coming off a 33-20 non-league win over St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI). The Titans record now stands at 13-2.
The Redhawks (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Portage Central nudged Portage Northern (Portage, MI), 53-14, in a league contest.
