California High School Basketball - El Capitan fells Patterson

February 2, 2024: Merced, CA 95348

El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Patterson Tigers (Patterson, CA), 56-37 in a league bout.

With the win, El Capitan upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Gauchos host Atwater (Atwater, CA) to play the Falcons in a bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 12-12.

Next up, the Tigers play the Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Patterson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-21 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 60-39 league loss to Golden Valley (Merced, CA).
