With the victory, Avonworth advances its record to 14-2 on the year. The Antelopes host Beaver (Beaver, PA) to meet the Bobcats in a WPIAL 4A 2 battle on Friday, February 7. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 15-4. Beaver won 53-41 in their recent league battle against Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA)
The Mustangs now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kiski Area for a WPIAL 5A 2 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Plum will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 70-39 league win over Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-6.
