The New Ulm Eagles tipped the visiting Waseca Bluejays basketball team by a final score of 62-61 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Mound-Westonka White Hawks (Mound, MN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 5. New Ulm will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The White Hawks enter the game with a 5-13 record after their 65-26 league loss to Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN).
