February 3, 2023: Marrero, LA 70072 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA) and the host L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA), saw Archbishop Shaw's basketball squad wallop L.W. Higgins by a tally of 76-42.
With the victory, Archbishop Shaw improves its record to 20-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Landry (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Landry won 53-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA)
Next up, the Hurricanes confront the Cox Cougars (Harvey, LA) in a 4A District 10 challenge, on Monday, February 6. L.W. Higgins will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record.
