February 3, 2023: Birch Run, MI 48415 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) and the host Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), saw Freeland's basketball squad wallop Birch Run by a count of 64-36.
With the victory, Freeland upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Alma (Alma, MI) to play the Panthers in a Tri-Valley - East challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Alma won 37-34 in their recent league challenge against Garber (Essexville, MI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Glenn Bobcats (Bay City, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Birch Run will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 68-63 league loss to Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI).
