North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Davidson overwhelms Montgomery Central
February 3, 2023: Lexington, NC 27292 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) and the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), saw Central Davidson's basketball squad wallop Montgomery Central by a count of 78-29.
With the victory, Central Davidson upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to play the Black Knights in a 3A Conference 47 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. North Davidson lost 55-48 in their recent league challenge against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 3A Conference 47 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 43-41 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
