January 6, 2023: Thomasville, NC 27360 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) and the host Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), saw Central Davidson's basketball squad wallop Ledford by a tally of 75-54.
With the victory, Central Davidson improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to confront the Blue Comets in a 3A Conference 47 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Blue Comets come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Asheboro won 72-54 in their recent league challenge against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a 3A Conference 47 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Ledford will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 60-37 league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
