February 3, 2023: Denver, NC 28037 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) and the visiting St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), saw East Lincoln's basketball squad overcome St. Stephens by a tally of 73-53.
With the victory, East Lincoln improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to North Iredell (Olin, NC) to play the Raiders in a 3A Conference 51 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. North Iredell won 66-60 in their recent league challenge against Statesville (Statesville, NC)
Next up, the Indians play the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a 3A Conference 51 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. St. Stephens will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 66-60 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
