Maryland High School Basketball - Huntingtown ripped by Westlake

February 3, 2023: Huntingtown, MD 20639

The Westlake Wolverines basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Huntingtown Hurricanes to 49 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern for a Southern Maryland contest on Wednesday, February 8. Westlake will battle a Patriots team coming off a 54-49 league win over Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 7-11.

The Hurricanes (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, North Point triumphed over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 62-59, in a league contest.
