Minnesota High School Basketball - Metro Deaf thwarted by New Mexico School for the Deaf
February 3, 2023: St. Paul, MN 55108 The Metro Deaf Cheetahs basketball team (St. Paul, MN), was toppled 45-30 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM)
The Roadrunners now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kansas School for the Deaf for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. New Mexico School for the Deaf will confront a Jackrabbits team coming off a 48-22 non-league win over Wisconsin School for the Deaf (Delavan, WI). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 6-4.
The Cheetahs (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf was toppled by New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM), 63-24, in a non-league battle.
